Provincial Minister for Food & Chairman Cabinet Price Control Committee Bilal Yasin has said that government has evolved an effective monitoring system for substantial reduction in the prices of edible items and maintenance of their prices at the fixed level. He said that under this system, duty magistrates daily visit Sunday Bazaars and other business centers which has helped in stabilizing the prices.
He expressed these views while talking to consumers during his surprise visit to different stores of his constituency, Karim Park and Shadman Swaira Store today. AC city Asim Saleem also accompanied the Minister. The Minister said that Government is aware of the problems of the common man and providing continuous relief to the people. During his visit to Karim Park, Bilal Yasin directed the owners of Iqbal store, Dua store, Al-Makkah store, Karachi store, Yadgar store, Swaira store Shadman and other shops to display banners and flex regarding the new prices of oil and ghee.
Bilal Yasin directed AC city Asim Saleem to ensure display of banners and flex of prices by the shopkeepers. He asked people to boycott profiteers and inform the government about such elements so that immediate action could be taken against them.
