Provincial Minister for Industry, Trade & Investment Ch. Muhammad Shafique has said that amended bill of labour laws will be presented in assembly and after its approval protection of labour rights and incentives to their families will be ensured. He stressed upon labour leaders to discharge their duties with sincerity. He said that every genuine demand for the welfare of workers will be fulfilled.
He expressed these views while addressing the meeting of administration and workers after oath taking ceremony of newly elected office-bearers of PC Hotel. He congratulated the office-bearers of the union being elected for ten consecutive years and assured that all genuine demands for the welfare of the labourers will be fulfilled.
Referring to the terrorism, the Provincial Minister said that the entire nation is united against terrorism and we will purge the country of this menace through unity. The Minister administered oath to office-bearers of union. President of the union Abdul Hameed Gujar and General Secretary Muhammad Sajad also addressed on the occasion. Elected office-bearers include Muhammad Ilyas, Muhammad Shafique, Haji Amin and Rana Moazam.
