Prime Minister of UAE announces provision of readymade clothes among 3lac under privileged children

The Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Muhammad Bin Raashid Al-Maktoom has decided to provide readymade clothes among three lakh  under privileged children studying in non-profit trust schools and government schools of less developed areas.

This was disclosed by H.E. Essa Abdullah Al-basha Al-noami while addressing to the clothes distribution ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Lahore. 10 thousand under privileged kids studying in the trust schools run by Anjuman Hamayat-e-Islam, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Home Uplift Foundation and “Goad” Foundation besides abandoned children from Child Protection Bureau Punjab received gift packs by the Ambassador Al-noami on the occasion in the presence of Country Director UAE Red Crescent Society  Sheikh Hamad-al-Ali, representative of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation Brig. Retd. Jamal Zia, President Obara Foundation Brig. Retd. Mukhtar Ahmad and Special Envoy of the advisor to the UAE Ambassador Col. Retd. Rana Kamal-ud-din.

The UAE Ambassador informed in his address to the under privileged children of Lahore that Sheikh Muhammad Bin Raashid ul Maktoom has taken an initiative to provide one million under privileged children of one hundred countries all over the world with readymade clothes. These countries include under developed countries like Somalia, Tanzania and Pakistan also. The UAE Prime Minister has decided to start the first phase of this charity project from Pakistan, he added.

Earlier, H.E. Essa Abdullah Al-basha Al-noami called on Secretary Schools Education Punjab Abdul Jabbar Shaheen and conveyed him the offer of Prime Minister Muhammad Bin Raashid Al-Maktoom to arrange readymade uniforms to one lakh under privileged kids studying in the public sector schools throughout the province of Punjab. The Secretary School thanked the Ambassador for this kindness on behalf of the Provincial Minister Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and apprised him of various development projects to improve the elementary and secondary education system in Punjab including Early childhood Care Project in public sector schools by constructing kids rooms having audio-visual aids, toys and other tools of modern teaching methods. He also gave a briefing about proposed installation of solar energy panels in public sector schools of the remote areas of Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Lodhran and Bahawalnagar. The UAE Ambassador promised to take up these workable projects with the government of UAE for active collaboration in these projects.
