Transparency International Pakistan has written a letter to Punjab government regarding the process of procurement of Microsoft licenses by the provincial government. Transparency International Pakistan has declared the procurement process of 15000 Microsoft licenses by Punjab government in 2010 as transparent. It has been further stated that Punjab Procurement Rules 2009 and Rules of Business were followed in the procurement process of Microsoft licenses. Transparency International has termed the purchase of licenses worth nine million dollars in accordance with the rules.
