Provincial Minister for Health Khalil Tahir Sindhu paid a surprise visit to District Headquarter Hospital Chiniot. He expressed his indignation over the blood stained bed sheets in wards of the hospital. He summoned EDO Health to Chiniot on the spot.
Khalil Tahir Sindhu immediately suspended in-charge surgical ward Dr. Tanvir Ahmad due to absence from duty. He also ordered provision of best treatment facilities to a female patient Tahira Bibi unattended in surgical ward. The Health Minister directed DCO Chiniot to inquire into the matters of district headquarter hospital Chiniot and submit him a report at the earliest.
