The Punjab Government has decided to convene “International Youth Conference” in October this year. The conference having a vast intercontinental significance, will be held in Lahore.
This was disclosed by the Punjab Minister for Education, Sports, Youth Affairs, Tourism and Archaeology, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan while talking to a delegation led by Prof. Aamir Rafique, Chairman Foundation for Promotion of Academic Revolution, at Punjab Assembly Chambers here today. The delegation was comprised of Vice Chairman Youth Revolution Club Rizwan Anwer besides a number of young students from Kinnaird College and Punjab University Lahore.
Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan appreciated the brilliant youngsters of Pakistan particularly that of the province of the Punjab as far as their talent is concerned. Our youth is no less than the global standard of brilliance and dynamism. Unique success of Punjab Youth Festival held in the last year at Lahore is the unprecedented evidence of the fact that our youth possesses world class talent, he added. The Minister hoped that young leaders from all over the world who have achieved prominence in their relevant areas of interest, will get a chance to interact with Pakistani Youth during the proposed International Youth Conference. The administrative matters regarding successful convening of the said youth conference were also reviewed during the meeting.
