PEF holds Orientation sessions for new NSP partners

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has completed the first phase of training of schools partnered with the PEF in phase 4 of its New School Program (NSP) in different districts.

According to the PEF spokesman, the PEF has entered into partnership with 221 low cost schools in 22 different districts in Punjab to provide free education to the deserving students under its NSP program.

The spokesman told that a detailed training program has been chalked out by the PEF to help improve the quality of education of these new partners through improved school management and enhancing the didactic skills of the teachers so that the students get quality education in a child friendly atmosphere.

Under this training program, orientation session of six NSP partner schools of Multan district was held today at a local school in which PEF Assistant Director Rasheed Ahmad and Muhammd Saleem briefed the school owners, principals and teachers on various educational aspects.

So far, orientation sessions of the new NSP partners have been completed in as many as 18 different districts and the second phase will be completed by June 30, concluded the spokesman.
