The development projects of Punjab government, including metro bus service, are a great source of inspiration for the other provinces. Completion of development projects in such a record period of time is an ample proof of hard work and dedication of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. The metro bus project is not only a significant step towards economic development, but it has made available international level, comfortable and speedy traveling facilities to the people. If Punjab gives Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to province of Sindh for five years, Sindh can also achieve progress, prosperity and development in a short period of time.
These views were expressed by a 9-member Sindhi journalists delegation which travelled on metro bus service today from Gajumata to Civil Secretariat. The members of the delegation said that they are wonder-struck over completion of mega projects like metro bus, within a short period of 11 months. They said metro bus project is a great gift to the people of Punjab by Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. They said that those who are terming this public-welfare project as a “Jangla” bus are only displaying their mental degradation. He said that all negative talk which they had heard about the metro bus service has now been nullified after their visit to Lahore, and traveling on metro bus. They said metro bus service is a great public welfare project in true sense of the word.
Later, the delegation also attended the inauguration ceremony of Pak Tea House. Secretary Information & Culture Abdullah Sumbal gave a luncheon in honor of the visiting journalists. The members of the delegation included: prominent columnist Zahida Hina, anchorperson Mujahid Brailvi, Saad Khawar, Sajjad Abbasi, Tahir Najmi, Aamer Khatak, Mumtaz Ali, Muhammad Mustafa Asad Abbasi and Riaz Narejo.
