Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Ch. Abdul Ghafoor has said that education is as much the right of the poor as the rich.
He expressed these views while distributing home solar systems among position holder girl and boy students of Government Boys and Girls High School Dogaon Raiwind. The Minister said that students are a precious asset of nation and there is a need for their proper education and training for ensuring a bright future for country. He said that the teachers can play a vital role in this regard. Ch. Abdul Ghafoor said that provision of education to every child is the vision of Punjab Chief Minister and he has taken unprecedented steps for bringing revolutionary changes in the education sector. He said that by ending disparity in education sector, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has provided every child an opportunity of moving forward on the basis of merit. He said that by establishing Daanish Schools, opportunities of international standard education have been provided to the children of the poor so that they could get respectable jobs and play their role in the progress and prosperity of the country.
