Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Transport, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said that Metro Bus Project is a public asset and revolutionary changes in transport sector will help improve the living standard of the people. Metro Bus project has been executed by utilizing public funds and its protection and improvement is also the responsibility of the people, he added.
Talking to different public delegations of his constituency, Syed Zaeem Qadri said that Pakistani people are conscious and civilized and Punjab government is working on development projects speedily for improving their living standard. He said that provision of the latest and comfortable travelling facilities like metro bus system in Lahore, is an important step towards solving problems of the people. He said that people are benefitting from facility of metro bus and the number of citizens travelling by metro bus is a clear proof of the success of this project. He said that fare of metro bus will be fixed within the reach of common man so that besides travelling facility, people could also be provided economic relief.
Zaeem Qadri said that this project developed on the pattern of Europe and other developed countries, will play an important role in improving the living standard of the deprived segments of the society. He said that it is the policy of Punjab government to provide maximum relief to the common man. He said that problems of the people can be resolved in a country of increasing population like Pakistan by introducing modern reforms in transport sector. He said that PML-N after winning next elections, will launch metro bus service in every big city of the country.
