Medical Superintendent Ganga Ram Hospital Dr. Ejaz Ahmed Shaikh has contradicted the news items regarding delivery at floor of labour room due to alleged negligence of doctors and said that an inquiry committee had been constituted consisting of senior doctors of the hospital for investigating the incident and according to its report, spontaneous delivery occurred with the said woman. He clarified that after completion of pregnancy period, delivery can be possible at any time which is a natural process. There is no negligence on the part of doctors or paramedical staff in this regard and the concerned family has also not lodged any complaint, he concluded.
