Special Assistant to CM Punjab on Health, Kh. Salman Rafiq has advised the young doctors to avoid exploitation of patients. He said that Punjab government has not only considered their demands with tolerance but taken every step for resolving their genuine problems. He said that Punjab government is holding negotiations with Young Doctors Association and is ready to talk over all issues. However, provision of treatment facilities to the poor patients is top priority of the government which will be ensured at all cost.
Reacting to the press conference of the office-bearers of Young Doctors Association, Kh. Salman Rafiq said that at such a stage when the government has accepted most of the demands of the doctors, the holding of such a threatening press conference cannot be considered proper. He said that it is not only violation of all official rules and regulations and moral principles, but also violation of the observation of the High Court.
