PEEF asks partner schools to adopt safety measures against Dengue

The Chairman Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) Raja Anwar has asked the partner schools heads to adopt strict measures against the menace of dengue for saving the students and teachers from this deadly viral attack.

He was presiding over a departmental meeting to review anti-dengue arrangements in partner schools at his office on Saturday. PEF-DMDs, program directors and departmental heads besides partner schools representatives attended the meeting.  

At the outset, Raja Anwar expressed the satisfaction that PEF partners are fully complying with the instructions of the Punjab government with regard to fighting dengue virus and added that provision of neat and clean environment to the younger generation is our mutual responsibility.

He said that necessary information material about dengue disease has already been provided to all the partners in the province for creating greater awareness in the students and teachers.

PEF is playing a facilitating role for helping the partners in their fight against dengue, he said. He observed that ignorance and poverty are equally dangerous for the Pakistani nation as like dengue and vowed to nip the menace of ignorance in the bud by providing the facility of quality gratis education to the doorsteps of every child.

On the occasion, partner schools heads thanked the PEF for providing anti-dengue material to them for the benefit of their students. They said that it has helped them to sensitize their students about this disease.
