Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed foolproof security arrangements on “Jumma tul Wida” throughout the province. Issuing instructions to Provincial Cabinet on Law & Order, the Chief Minister said that all out steps should be taken for ensuring foolproof security arrangements on Jumma tul Wida. He said that foolproof security of mosques, Imambargahs and other worship places should be ensured and additional police force be deputed. Shehbaz Sharif further directed that senior officers should personally monitor security arrangements and remain present in the field. He said that implementation of security plan evolved in this regard should be ensured at any cost and no effort be spared for the protection of life and property of the people.
