CM Pays Surprise Visit To General Hospital

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to Lahore General Hospital without any prior intimation and protocol today. No one including hospital administration and media were unaware of Chief Minister’s visit. The visit of Chief Minister was so secret that Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and MS of the hospital were not aware and they reached there during the visit of the Chief Minister. Shehbaz Sharif enquired after the patients in the wards. He enquired from the attendants of the patients about medical facilities being provided and availability of medicines in the hospital. The patients and their attendants informed the Chief Minister about their problems and prayed for him for issuing immediate orders for resolving their problems. An elderly person, resident of village Chwinda said that he is getting treatment in the hospital and medicines are provided however, cleanliness system should be improved. Mother of a child Ali Hasnain, resident of Okara told that although they are getting medicines but received no date for operation so far despite passage of 10 days. A patient from Layyah Mushtaq Hussain also complained of not given operation date soon upon which the Chief Minister issued necessary instructions regarding treatment of patients. During the visit of Chief Minister, people gathered there and informed about their problems and financial difficulties upon which the Chief Minister gave necessary directions and assured them resolution of their problems. The patients and their attendants while talking to the Chief Minister said that the heart of Chief Minister beats with common man and the responsibility taken by him for setting the hospitals right is commendable. They expressed the hope that he will certainly succeed in this noble cause.
