Member National Assembly Maj. (Retd.) Tahir Iqbal met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here today. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that people are benefitting from mega projects completed in the province and development schemes are being implemented in rural and urban areas under and a comprehensive development policy. He said that transparency, high standard and speed is the hallmark of Punjab government. He said that special attention is being paid to education, health, water supply and social sectors. He said that a big project of supply of potable water to people is being implemented. He said that billions of rupees are being spent on uplift of health sector and provision of educational facilities to citizens. Shehbaz Sharif said that service to people is the mission of the government and no effort is being spared for its achievement. Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government is fulfilling its promises made to the people and all out efforts are being made for welfare of the masses and raising the living standard of the deprived segments of the society. He said that journey of progress and development will be completed under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
