Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government believes in politics of service and values. He said that protest politics has already caused a lot of loss to the country and there is no justification for it at a time when Pakistan is moving towards progress and prosperity. He said that those who are involved in negative politics do not want progress of the country or prosperity of the masses. He said that people of Pakistan are fully aware who is serving them and who is trying to create anarchy.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-N, here today. Shehbaz Sharif said that the elements involved in politics of agitation are bent upon wasting the precious time of the nation once again. He said that those trying to promote anarchy and hamper the process of prosperity of the masses are enemies of Pakistan. He said that in a democratic setup, decisions are taken in parliament and not on roads. The Chief Minister said that the aim of undue protest is to stop the process of speedy development. He said that those trying to create anarchy want to push the country into darkness and conscious people of Pakistan have rejected these elements through the power of the vote on every occasion. He said that those staging protests have no aim and they are only wasting precious time of the nation. Shehbaz Sharif said that elements engaged in negative politics are afraid of the popularity of Muslim League-N as under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif it has set records of public service. He said that the elements staging protest are afraid that completion of energy and other development projects will end their politics. Shehbaz Sharif said that people had rejected these elements and will do so again in future. People do not need hollow slogans and aimless protest, he added. He said that the elements indulging in politics of protests and anarchy are unaware of the real problems of the people and increasing their problems through their unjustified protest. The Chief Minister said that government is determined to ensure a prosperous future for Pakistan and those engaged in protest politics will fail to achieve their designs while Pakistan will continue to move ahead.
