President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was accorded a warm welcome by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his arrival to Lahore on a short visit. On the arrival of Turk President, the children presented bouquets to the President and his wife. Provincial Ministers, Members National and Provincial Assembly and senior officers were present on the occasion. Welcoming Turk President, the Chief Minister said that he is pleased on arrival of his brother to the heart of Pakistan, Lahore and cannot state it in words. He said that the arrival of Recep Tayyip Erdogan to historic city of Pakistan, Lahore is an honor for us and he lives in the hearts of people of Pakistan which is reflected from his warm welcome. Shehbaz Sharif said that the personality of Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a role model for Pakistan and progress and prosperity of Turkey under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan is reflective of untiring hard work and sagacity of Turk government. He said that under the guidance of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has become a role model for the countries from Casablanca to Kuala Lumpur. Later, the Chief Minister accompanied by the distinguished guests left for Hazoori Bagh where Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arranged a dinner in honor of Turk President and his delegation. On the arrival of Turk President to Lahore, the city was beautifully decorated. Big photographs and portraits of Turk President, Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister were displayed. The city was decorated with colorful electric lamps, buntings s dies unties and banners. Lahorities standing on both sides of the road threw flower petals on the convoy of Turk President.
