Due to the efforts of Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab, possession of 205 Kanal land has been handed over to the U.K based Overseas Pakistani woman. Commissioner OPC Afzaal Bhatti informed that Mrs. Abida Shujat Rana filed a complaint to OPC that Mumtaz Ahmad Khan has illegally occupied her 205 Kanal 13 Marla land situated in Qila Sardar Bhagail Singh, District Kasur, for the last three years and has also prepared fake documents in this regard. He told this complaint was referred to the District Overseas Committee Kasur, which by making reconciliation between the two parties, handed over the land to the original owner and by intervention of OPC both parties had also withdrawn their cases against each other in courts. Afzaal Bhatti further told that so far 50% of the received complaints of expats have been resolved and District overseas Committee are also playing pivotal role in resolving the issues faced by the Overseas Pakistanis.
