Minister Primary & Secondary Paid Surprise Visits To Govt. Hospitals During Holidays

Punjab Minister for Primary & Secondary Health Kh. Imran Nazir paid surprise visits to DHQ Hospital Layyah on Sunday night. He took around of emergency ward, CCU, medical ward and medical store. Kh. Imran Nazir took notice of out of order cardiac monitor in CCU and directed to immediately replace the same. The Minister said that vacant posts of specialist doctors in the hospital would be filled on priority basis. He also directed to evolve a transparent system for local purchase of medicines for admitted patients. He directed that defacing of local purchased medicines should be carried out before the doctor to avoid any pilferage. He said that since the referral system between Nishter Hospital Multan and DHQ Hospital Layyah is exists therefore, arrangements would be made to send the house jobians and PG doctors to DHQ Hospital Layyah on rotation. 

Meanwhile, Minister Primary & Secondary Health Kh.Imran Nazir visited Govt. General Hospital Samanabad, Faisalabad on Monday. He inspected gynaee ward, emergency, general ward, pharmacy, peads and clinical laboratory. Kh. Imran Nazir expressed his displeasure to the hospital administration on non-availability of incubator in nursery and directed to immediately arrange incubators for peads nursery. He expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness condition however, directed for further improvement of cleanliness in the hospital. Moreover, Kh. Imran Nazir also visited THQ Hospital Jaranwala and Rural Health Center 65 GB, Jaranwala to check the availability of treatment facilities in the health centers.
