The 6th International Renewable Energy Exhibition & Conference "Solar Pakistan 2017" inaugurated today with participation of more than 150 exhibitors from 15 countries. This Solar Energy Exhibition and Conference focuses on the latest technologies in the field of renewable energy. There are major participation from countries like China, Malaysia, Germany, India, Italy, Turkey, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates United Kingdom and Canada. The exhibition showcases the latest and state of the art technology and equipment used in the solar industry. Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals Chaudhary Sher Ali Khan inaugurated the Exhibition today. While speaking to the media, the Minister said that the event will showcase the latest innovations taking place in Pakistan’s solar energy industry. The exhibition will continue till Saturday. A high level conference is planned tomorrow as well where International and Pakistani speakers will participate and share their knowledge, experiences with the audience. Solar Pakistan 2017 provides a premium platform for all renewable energy stakeholders, government regulators, associations and academia to enhance business networking, knowledge sharing and build profitable relationships in the long run, Minister added. Ch. Sher Ali Khan said that the event is deemed to employ the best practices that are recognized worldwide to compete on international standards, he said. Solar Pakistan 2017 is aiming to promote trade among Pakistan and International countries in order to support the economy, such events help in retaining economic growth and trade promotion. The exhibition is showcasing modern equipment and technology with tremendous foreign participation and is bound to help the growth of Pakistan’s promising solar industry, he concluded.
