A meeting of District Overseas Pakistanis Committee (DOPC) Lahore was held under the Chairmanship of Vice Chairperson OPC Shaheen Khalid Butt and Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti. CCPO Lahore Cap® Amin Wains, Director General OPC Javed Iqbal Bukhari, Additional DG Police Matters OPC Agha Muhammad Yousaf were also present on this occasion.
During the meeting it was decided to set up overseas Pakistanis Committees at tehsil level in Lahore district for early redressal of the complaints of Overseas Pakistan.Superintendent Police, Assistant Commissioner and Prominent Social figures would be the member’s Tehsil Committees.During meeting performance of DOPC Lahore and data of pending Complaints also came under discussion.
VC and Commissioner OPC while lauding the efforts of DOPC Lahore in resolving the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis said that other district of the Province should follow the Lahore Model for swift redressal of the problems of expatriate Pakistanis. Certain Complaints of Overseas Pakistanis also came under discussion during the meeting and VC and Commissioner issued necessary instructions for the solution of said complaints.
