Provincial Minister Industries Commerce & Trade Sheikh Alla-u-din has said that that many technical colleges, including TEVTA have been playing a key role in promoting technical education across the Punjab. He said that the establishment of Tianjin University with collaboration of China will be proved a milestone in the history of Pakistan. He expressed these views while chairing a Departmental Meeting today in Industries Department’s committee room. Secretary Industries Dr. Mujtaba Paracha, Deputy Secretary, Moeed Aman and others concerned persons were present there. Secretary Industries briefed that the memorandum of understanding between Chairman TEVTA and Chinese officials has been signed for establishment of Tianjin Technical and Vocational University to strengthen the industry in Punjab. The Minister Industries said that Punjab government is working on to provide technical education throughout the province. Establishment of Tianjin Technical and Vocational Education University will also help in eliminating unemployment as well. He said that with the formation of Pakistan's first Technical and Vocational Training University, where the Skilled Force will be developed. The Minister Industries said that due to special interest of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistani intelligent and on-merit students has been sent to China for learn Chinese language, which will be helpful to play a significant role in the development and success of Pakistan.
