Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab has pointed out that changing weather and smog have merged in increasing diseases and in the light of the directions of the Punjab Government necessary arrangements have been made at Lahore General Hospital to provide best medical care to the patients. He told that in outdoor from 8.00am to 8.00pm and in Emergency department round the clock doctors and Para medical staff would be on duty for the smog patients. Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab was addressing the Seminar on Awareness on Smog, Safety and Treatment held at Lahore General Hospital here today where medical experts Prof. Khalid Waheed, Dr. Junaid Mirza Head of Community Medicine, Dr. Mohammad Arfan Malik Assistant Professor of Palmanology also addressed while Medical Superintendent of LGH Dr. Ghulam Sabir brief the participants regarding the arrangements in the Hospital for Smog patients. Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab said that apart from Government every citizen should perform its duties towards making the environment human friendly and like celebrating our birthday should also plant a tree every year.
