Provincial Minister for Industry and Trade Sheikh Alla-u-din has said that Punjab Government is promoting technical education with collaboration of China. He said that providing technical education to every young person is the primary duty of Punjab government and various technical colleges especially TEVTA are enhancing vision of Punjab government. However, it is need of time to must promote technical education in universities also. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting in industries department, today. Chairman TEVTA, Secretary Industries Dr. Mujtaba Paracha and other relevant persons were present. During the meeting, Chairman TEVTA told that previous day, the MOU signed with Tianjin University of Technology and Education, Tanzanian China, University of University and Tianjin Polytechnic University, regarding the establishment of Tianjin University of Technology in Punjab. Chinese and English language courses will be done including mechanical, automobile, civil, architectural, textile and fashion designing programs. Secretary Industries briefed that Punjab's Tianjin University of Tactical Education will launch first course of technical in March of 2018. State of the Arts Technical University will be constructed very soon on 157 Acre in Raiwind. He said that we have to promote technical education in original terms through our universities. The Minister of Industries said that the skilled people in the international market are demanding and hope to get a degree from the University of Tianjin will help in ending unemployment in Pakistan.
