Punjab Government Is Working On Strengthening the Local Industry, Minister Industries Sheikh Alla-U-Din.

Minister for Industry & Trade Sheikh Alla-u-Din met with the delegation of Sargodha Chamber of commerce and Industry under the supervision of President SCCI Sheikh Naveed. Issues faced by the Sargodha industry discussed in details. The delegation briefed about their problems such as Salt Industry temporarily closed, once there was a time when 250 containers were export per month and now due to the closure of many factories, the business has ended completely. Only a single Gypsum factory Due to the un-availability of gas has to sell India on low prices.  As well, Facilitation Center Sargodha had been closed since 2013 but the payment of salaries to the staff is still continuing. They also informed the provincial minister about the problems related to wooden handy craft and industry and demanded to solve their problems at priority basis. The Minister Industries assured the delegation that the Punjab government will provide the solution of all its legitimate demands and will help them to strengthen the industry through self-financing. The Minister directed to the representative of Punjab Small Industries Corporation that they should visit Sargodha and make a complete list of closed factories and submit a report on Saturday for canceling their plot’s registration. He also directed that the place which is allocated in Usman Industrial States Sargodha for the PSIC’S office, shared with SCCI.
