Provincial Minister for Industry and Trade Sheikh Alla-u-Din has said that permission cannot be granted to technical centers play with the future of youth for the sake of money. He said that to save the future of youth, the industry Department and the Chairperson Board of Technical Education has to be performed proactive role in order to ensure the future of youth.
He expressed these views while meeting with Chairperson Board of Technical Education Yasmin Mehar-ul-Nisa at industry’s office, today. She told to the Minister that she had visited Allama Iqbal College of Technology, Bai Paas Patoki, Dr. A. Q. Khan Polytechnic Institute, Allahabad, Tehsil Chonia, I.A.S Commerce College near Bus Stop Chonia, Allama Iqbal Polytechnic Institute near Railway Crossing Khudian, Quaid-e-Azam College Engineering & Technology Khaas Qasur, Japan Poly Technique Institute Dheeng Shah Ada Kasoor and found irregularities in all centers, while several centers were temporarily established in the Mosques and approval granted in the name of religion. Laboratories, classrooms and teachers were also not founded in the centers, she added.
The provincial minister directed Chairperson to serve the instant notice of show cause to all the centers and order to submit a detailed report till February 06. He said inquiry notice also send to TEVTA’s Chairman to clear about their position that how they got registration? And initiated the Legal proceedings against the personnel involved in such activity.
