Provincial Minister IC&T Sheikh Alla-u-Din has said that Pakistan and Turkey have enjoyed a long standing cordial relationship and in recent years our strategic partnership with Turkey has broadened in all spheres, especially trade and investments.
He expressed these views while in a departmental meeting in Industry’s committee room. Secretary Industries Doctor Mujtaba Paracha, CEO PBIT and other related officers were present in the meeting. He said during his address that we are glad to note that inaugurating this plant today, we hope that this will be the first of much collaboration between the two sides and will grow into a strong and mutually beneficial relationship. He said that to utilize the enormous potential of Punjab, Punjab Board of Investment and Trade, envisioned and established by the honorable Chief Minister, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, has been instrumental in linking Punjab to a global network of progressive investors, capitalizing on trade opportunities, and spearheading economic progress in the province. Ambassador of Switzerland said that we are gathered here today to celebrate a milestone in Swiss- Punjab economic partnership, a milestone oriented towards building and constructing strong bonds. Punjab has tremendous potential as an investment destination having necessary infrastructure, institutional base and highly trained and hardworking human resource capital. At the end of event a memorial shield presented to Minister Industries by SIKA Pakistan.
