A 2-Day Scientific Symposium being organized by the Post Graduate Medical Institute will take place on February 26 & 27 at Lahore General Hospital where senior professors will deliver lectures while experts from different fields will read their research papers during the symposium. This was disclosed by the Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute Prof. Dr. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab here today. He told that a poster exhibition will also be arranged to sensitize public and medical community about various diseases. He said that 30 Pre Workshops would also be conducted in all the departments before symposium for young doctors. Prof. Agha Shabir Ali, Prof. Mohammad Shahid and faculty member and young doctors were also present on this occasion. Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab who is also Patron in Chief, said that this Symposium will not only update the knowledge of the doctors but also set new traditions of research to find out the solution of medical problems. He said that the medical science has made significance advancement in modern era, thirst of knowledge should never be satisfied as it plays pivotal role in medical advancements. Prof. Agha Shibir who is Chairman Organizing Committee said that the young doctors should focus on research work as it will groom them clinically and enhance their skills. He emphasized the students to remain focused about their training and studies as they were associated with the sacred duty of saving human lives.
