Short Movie Competitions of Dramatic Society of AMC (LGH)

Under the aegis of Dramatic Society of Ameer Uddin Medical College (LGH) annual competition of short movies was held at auditorium of Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences where students took part in a large number. Short movies on the topics of Kasur Zainab Rape Case, Addiction it's problems and solutions and Police's reputation and impression were came under performance there. Chairman Dramatic Society and Professor of Neuro Dr. Khalid Mahmood presided and Renowned Singer Jawad Ahmed was chief guest while 500 students took part in this mega event. Students Ahmed Faraz Tarrar, Umer Farooq, Ammara Iftikhar, Amna Tariq, Rana Usama and Moshin Nazir were prominent in performance. Addressing on this occasion, Prof. Khalid Mahmood said that awareness on social and moral issues is vital for young generation and Dramatic Society of Ameer Uddin Medical College has taken right step of holding such competition. He said that young generation must be sensitized on such important topics which would help them in being a civilized and responsible citizen. Jawad Ahmed said that our young generation is full of talent and they must be patronized properly. A large number of spectators were also there who admired their performance. Students were also awarded prizes who took part in short movie competition.
