Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource Ansar Majeed Khan Has Presided over a Meeting Regarding Pakistan Citizen Portal in his office, here today. Additional Secretary Labour Dr. Sohail Shahzad, Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institution Saqib Manan, DG Labour Faisal Chaudhry, Secretary Workers Welfare Board Ahmad Nayak and other concerned officers were present on this occasion. The meeting reviewed the measures taken for solving the problems received on Pakistan Citizen Portal regarding Labour & Human Resource Department.
The Minister lauded the efforts made by all the officers for redressing 90 percent complaints received on Pakistan Citizen Portal against Punjab Employees Social Security Institution, Labour Directorate, Workers Welfare Board and Minimum Wages Board. He further stated that Labour and Human Resource Department was on top in Pakistan Citizen Portal at Punjab level regarding redressal of complaints. The Minister further maintained that problems of the industrial institution of Punjab are being solved on priority basis. He said that soon he will start visiting the industrial institutes of the Punjab and will issue on the spot instruction for solving their problems. He directed that Labour Inspectors should ensure the registration of industrial workers of industrial institutes of their respective areas.
