Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab Waseem Akhtar along with the delegation met Member of British House of Lords Nazir Ahmad in London today. Matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting. Lord Nazeer Ahmad briefed the delegation about the efforts made for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue by the House of Lords. Chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC), Punjab Waseem Akhtar gave detailed briefing on the steps taken for the efficient complaints’ redressal mechanism for Overseas Pakistanis. As per the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, it is the priority of the PTI-led government to create a feasible environment for the overseas Pakistanis and businessmen living abroad. The role played by expatriates in strengthening the economy of this country is pivotal. Member House of Lords, Lord Nazir Ahmad lauded the dynamic role of Overseas Pakistanis Commission and promised to extend his support. The members of delegation were Provincial Minister Transport Khan Jahanzeb Khichi, MPA Malik Nadeem Abbas, Kamran Bashir, Member OPC and others.
