The provincial Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has said that healthy environment can be provided to youth only through the promotion of sports and youth can be saved from many evils spreading into the society. He said that the Government of PTI being utilized all resources to rehabilitate field of sports throughout Pakistan. The Minister expressed these views on the occasion of attending the inaugural ceremony of the All Pakistan Don Bosco Annual Football Tournament held in the Tehsil of Faisalabad, previous day. All the players showed gratitude on the arrival of Minister Ijaz Alam and hoped that government of PTI would provide all basic facilities to the youth for the promotion of healthy activities. The minister said during his address that unfortunately sports ground of Pakistan were abandoned from a decade due to Terrorism however, it is encouraging element that due to joint efforts of Pak Army and security enforcement agencies, Pakistan is capable to organize international sports to promote peace. He said that upcoming event of PSL will boost a soft or peaceful image of the country.
