Punjab Minister for Housing & Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed has said that release of Pakistani prisoners languishing in Saudi jails announced by Saudi Crown Prince is reflective of tremendous diplomatic success of Pakistan. “Prime Minister Imran Khan has initiated a new era of warm relations with KSA. Unlike past rulers who have resorted to establishment of personal relations with Saudi royal family on Pakistan’s interest, Imran Khan has adopted a marvelous diplomatic strategy to get the Pakistani prisoners released from the Saudi jails which shows that the present regime is making all-out efforts to drive the country towards new horizons of progress and prosperity”, the minister added.
In a statement, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed said that visionary leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan has driven Pak-Saudi relations to the height and due to which the nation starts receiving positive results of visit of Saudi prince. Release of Pakistani prisoners from Saudi jails is one of the giant steps taken by the present government, he added. The Minister observed that MoUs worth 20 billion dollars signed during visit of Crown Prince will usher in new era of prosperity and strengthen the national economy which would result in further enhancing economic relations between the two brotherly countries.
