SWD Organizes a Colorful Punjabi Cultural Festival

Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Punjab department organizes a festival to celebrate Punjabi culture at Sanatzar Lahore today. Provincial Minister for Social and Bait-Ul-Mal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema graced the event as a chief guest. He inaugurated the festival by cutting the ribbon. The major objective to celebrate this event is to promote the culture of Punjab and its values. The students of Sanatzar had set up various stalls in connection with Punjabi culture. The girls who are enrolled in different programs under seminar resented different tablos and skits that highlighted the culture of Punjab. While addressing this eye soothing festival Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema said that he is pleased to join these young energetic students who are very much close to their culture. He said that Punjabi culture is very beautiful and its values are pure. It is the need of time that we should promote it inside and outside the Pakistan, he added. Director Lahore Division SWD, Director Programs SWD and a number of students attended the event. At the end of the event Provincial Minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema of distributed prizes and certificates among the students who had shown brilliant performance in their respective programs.
