Provincial Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has said that Holi is the festival of colors and it is the sign of happiness and peace. Today all over Pakistan, Hindus are celebrating Holi with religious enthusiasm in all over Pakistan as assured the Quid-e-Azam on 11th August that all the minorities will be free to go their religious places and under the leadership of I.K incumbent Government providing full protection and dignity. He said that a minister used bad language against minorities and resigned on the special order of PM I.K which is a great symbol of leadership and respect of minorities. He expressed these views while meeting with different representatives of the Hindus community at his camp office on Wednesday. Minister said that CM Punjab has announced a grant of one crore for the Hindu community on the eve of Holi, which is laudable and Government of Punjab also announced a grant of 10 crore for the rehabilitation of churches and temples situated in south Punjab. He said that in the recent visit of South Punjab, he distributed certificates of educational scholarships worth of 8.5 million among minority students, be a part of the development process in Pakistan.
