Provincial Minister for School Education Murad Rass presided over the CEOs Meeting held today at QUEd, Lahore. The meeting covered manifold aspects regarding schools education in the province. The progress of varied KPIs of the ongoing reforms program was also reviewed in detail. While addressing the meeting, the minister said that the enrolment campaign across the province will be monitored via tech-based School Information System (SIS). To ensure public participation in the campaign, help will also be sought from school councils, parents and religious scholars, the minister said. Provincial Minister further said that steps are being taken regarding transparent postings/transfers of the teachers. Govt is committed to achieve the desired goal of provision of quality education to the children at all levels across the province. Minister emphasized that the department will apprise the parents about enrolment at the time of polio vaccination. All stakeholders, including teachers’ union and private school’s association, will also be taken on board to uplift the quality of education in the province. The meeting was attended by Secretary SED Capt(R) Muhammad Mehmood, department officials, heads of affiliated bodies, reps from teachers’ union and private schools’ association, education-sector NGOs and CEOs of all districts of the province.
