Present Regime Eager to Provide Basic Amenities to Public: Malik Anwer

Punjab Revenue Minister Col.(Retd) Malik Anwer has said that the provincial government is attaching high value to provide fundamental rights of the public in terms of education, health, food, clothing and shelter. Present regime is focusing its attention to bring rural population at par with urban areas for which poverty alleviation initiatives are being launched across the province. The PTI government will continue to fulfill all its commitment made with people during elections, the minister added.

The Provincial Revenue Minister, Malik Anwer, expressed these views during meeting with MNA Raja Riaz at his residence here today. MPAs from Faisalabad Division were also present at the occasion. The Minister said that in order to provide housing units to low-income people, the government has launched Naya Pakistan Housing Project which would ensure job opportunities to thousands of people, besides uplifting allied industry. The housing units are being established in the province in Renala Khurd (Okara), Lodhran and Chishtian (Bhawalnagar) in first phase. The citizenry will soon witness great and positive changes in development of infrastructure in the province, concluded the minister.
