Punjab Govt. Pledges to Implement Nap in Full Spirit: Minister Law Punjab

Provincial Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Local Government Punjab Muhammad Basharat Raja has said that Punjab government was committed to implement National Action Program (NAP) in its full spirit in order to eradicate terrorism and sectarianism. He was presiding over a meeting with a delegation of Tehrik-e-Nifaz Fiqa Jaffria Punjab at Punjab Assembly on Tuesday. The delegation comprising of Allama Hassan Kazmi, Syed Mohsin Hamdani, Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Aqeel Hussain Naqvi and others, assured to stand shoulder to shoulder with government against any kind of terrorism inflicted on the nation. The delegation presented certain problems being faced by the Shia community in Punjab and sought government’s assistance towards their resolution. The Minister thanking the delegation, said that all political parties were unanimously supporting implementation of NAP but it was credit of PTI government who was performing the best in this regard. He said, “the constitution of Pakistan protects religious rights of all citizens without any prejudice and no one has right to provoke the religious beliefs of other sect or community. Pakistan has suffered from terrorism more than any other country in the world so we will continue to combat extremism through NAP until the end of this devil”. Basharat Raja assured the delegation to discuss its issues with the Chief Minister Punjab and solve them at the earliest.
