Punjab Minister for Housing & Urban Development Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed has said that PTI government is making all out efforts to address the public issues. In this regard, active role of officers is vital in redressing the grievances of the people. He stated this during an open court held at PTI Secretariat, here today. Vice Chairman Lahore Development Authority (LDA) S. M. Imran, Managing Director Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) Syed Zahid Aziz, Director General Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) Dr. Faisal Zahoor and other concerned officers were also present on this occasion. The Minister said that public service is the core mission of PTI government and purpose of open courts is prompt redressal of the grievances of the masses. Presence of high-ups of relevant departments has been ensured during open courts so that public issues could be solved at the earliest, he added. During open court, people lodged their complaints and applications regarding LDA, WASA and PHA. Mian Mehmood-ur-Resheed, after a thorough review of these applications, issued necessary directions to the officers concerned. He said that procedure of LDA One Window Cell and complaints redressal system of this organization needs a comprehensive review. He instructed the officers to allocate at least three days to listen and address the public grievances. An early solution of the public problems is possible with the due attention of the high-ups, he added.
