Provincial Minister for HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine has attended Queen Elizabeth’s 93rd birthday celebrated at a private hotel on Monday. The event was also attended by known names from the government, diplomacy, culture, academia and the media. Thomas Drew CMG & Mrs. Joanna Drew CMG welcomed all the guests and thanked all for joining the ceremony of 93rd birthday of the Queen Elizabeth. Ijaz Alam Augustine said in his address that the Queen Elizabeth was a great personality and it is delightful to celebrate her birthday in Pakistan. Thomas Drew CMG said that the UK’s relationship with Pakistan is special; our two countries have incredible people to people links and work particularly closely in the fields of education, health, culture and security. While these strong links extends to trade, our aim this year is to take our trading relationship to the next level. Cake cutting ceremony also held at the end of the event.
