Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Baitul Maal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that it takes time to make things better. Former rulers left the country in deplorable condition, whereas, current government is working hard to improve the matters. He was talking to media persons during his visit to Social Welfare Complex, today. The minister said that no country can make progress without investing in education, health and welfare projects. Our focus is to provide best education facilities, proper health care to the people. Muhammad Ajmal Cheema told that previous government did not pay attention towards Social Welfare Department. We took over it in a very disastrous condition and worked alot to improve it. During his visit provincial minister gone to welfare institutes, Aafiat, Gehwara, Chaman, Darul Falah and Darul Sakon. He met the residents there and inspected the facilities provided to them. Muhammad Ajmal Cheema checked the cleanliness arrangements and gave directions in this regard. Member Provincial Assembly and senior officers of the department were also present there. Later, Punjab Minister Muhammad Ajmal Cheema chaired an important meeting and was briefed about important matters of the department. The minister directed officers to work diligently and negligence would never be tolerated.
