Punjab Minister for HR&MA Aijaz Alam Augustine has sought a detailed report from the CPO Faisalabad regarding death of 40 years old Atif during police custody. According to details, Minister Ijaz Alam took notice of news that one person named Atif reported dead, detained by police in Jhumra area of Faisalabad. Minister Ijaz Alam telephonically ordered CPO Faisalabad Ashfaq Ahmed to investigation into the gruesome incident and directed to take strict action against the personnel responsible for this incident. He also directed CPO to submit a detailed unbiased report within 48 hours, Medical examination has also been ordered to confirm the reason of death. Minister Ijaz Alam said that PTI’s Government will ensure protection of the human rights in the country.
