A delegation of Orient Company called on Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade, Mian Aslam Iqbal at the office of Punjab Board of Investment & Trade here today and announced to invest 250 million dollars in Glass industries in first phase. Various proposals of land for the installation of industrial unit were discussed in the meeting. While talking on the occasion, the delegation said that Orient company intend to install glass industry for which the company required 50-acre of land. This factory will produce 600-ton glass daily. Specialized loi glass will be prepared in the factory which will not only meet the local requirements but foreign exchange can also be earn for exporting this glass to the middle east countries. While talking to the delegation, Mian Aslam Iqbal has said due to strong economic policies and ease of doing business strategy, local and foreign investors are investing in the country. He said that Punjab government is encouraging local investors and taking steps to restore the confidence of local investors. Minister for Industries & Trade said that we welcome the investment of Orient company and will provide all necessary facilities to them. Mian Ahmed Fazal, Mian Noman Tallat and others were included in the delegation while CEO of Punjab Board of Investment & Trade Jehanzeb Burana was also present in the meeting.
