A high-level meeting held under the chair of Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal at Civil Secretariat today. Various issues and proposals of establishing state-of-the-art Theme Park in Lahore were discussed in the meeting. Secretary Industry, Member NHA, MD Tourism and officers of concerned departments attended the meeting. While addressing the meeting, Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that establishment of state-of-the-art Theme Park in Lahore is a need of the hour. Investment of rupees billion will come and new job opportunities will also be created by implementing this project. Minister for Industries has said that Punjab government is taking effective steps for promoting economic and business activity in the province as problems facing country can be solved through promoting economic activities. He said that economic and trade activities will be boosted with the construction of Theme Park. He said that there is vast opportunities of investment in tourism sector and national economy can be strengthened with the promotion of tourism. He said Theme Park project has vital importance and this project of public welfare have to be completed rapidly. Five star hotels, shopping malls and business centres will be made in the Theme Park which will help to boost business activities. Mian Aslam Iqbal directed to present complete plan of Theme Park in the next meeting.
