Punjab minister for Social Welfare & Bait Ul Maal Punjab Muhammad Ajmal Cheema paid visit to Kashana, Lahore today. Chairperson Punjab Women Protection Authority Kaneez Fatima also accompanied him. During the visit Provincial Minister social welfare Muhammad Ajmal Cheema inaugrated prayer hall set up for the resident children of Kashana. Muhammad Ajmal Cheema met the residents of Kashana and inquired about their problems. The minister assured that he is with them and will take every step to resolve their issues. At Kashana he visited the rooms, kitchen & dining hall and inspected the cleanliness arrangements, there. The minister directed the whole staff to perform their duties honestly and dutifully as there is no room for negligence. Later, talking to media provincial minister said that it is our moral duty to serve this deprived section of society. These people need our support and help. He told that it is good that Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab personally take interest in the projects of social welfare and are always ready to help us in this regard. Director General Social Welfare Kiran Afshan Imtiaz, Director Lahore Division Faiz Naeem Waraich and other officers of SWD were also present there.
