Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to ensure foolproof security arrangements for the protection of life and property of the people on Juma-tul-Wida. Every possible steps should be taken to maintain peaceful environment and security of Masajid, Imam Bargha and other places of warship should be ensured. He said that police officers should monitor security arrangements and remain in the field. He said that strict implementation on security plan devised for maintaining law and order situation should be ensured and every effort should be made for protecting life and property of the people. He issued these directions to the provincial cabinet committee for law and order from Saudi Arabia with regard to security arrangements on Juma-tul-Wida.
