Khalid Khokhar Group of Kissan Ittehad also called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar today. During the meeting, various proposals regarding increasing the agricultural productivity and solution of problems of the farmers came under discussion. Talking on the occasion, Chief Minister said that stakes of the farmers will be protected and farmers will be given their due rights. He informed that sugar mills are starting crushing from tomorrow. Any injustice will not be allowed with the sugarcane farmers and indiscriminate action will be initiated against illegal weigh bridges. Contact will be maintained with you and policies will be formulated for the development of agriculture sector in addition to ensuring solution of problems of the farmers, the Chief Minister concluded.
