Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that lives of millions of people of the Punjab will be changed by achieving the economic goals of new industrial policy. The government is heading towards achieving 10 percent industrial growth annually and for creating 1.2 million new job opportunities. According to the industrial policy 5 lakh skilled workforce will be prepared every year and improve the productive competitiveness of priorities sector. There is vast potential of industrial development in Punjab and government will benefit it fully.
Provincial Minister expressed these views while talking to media in the courtyard of Punjab Assembly. He said due to wrong economic policies and corruption of past rulers, country had reached at the verge of disaster. To meet the inherited crisis we had “two path” let the country be default or take difficult decisions but we save the country by taking difficult decisions, these decisions will yield positive results in future and people will benefit from them, he added. Mian Aslam Iqbal said that former corrupt rulers put the Punjab under the debt of 12 billion rupees and people are facing the consequences of their so-called progress. Under the wise, honest leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is coming out of the crisis rapidly and national economy is being strengthened, he concluded.
