Under the supervision of Director General Environment Protection Irfan Nazir, Deputy Director Environment Protection Ali Ijaz is taking indiscriminate action against the mills creating environmental pollution. On the instructions of Irfan Nazir, environment protection team sealed three steel mills in Mominpura including Jahangir Steel Mill, Husnain Steel Mill and Allah Dittah Steel Mill for utilizing substandard fuel and releasing smoke. While talking to the media on the occasion, Deputy Director Ali Ijaz said that these factories were creating environmental pollution, notices have been served to above mentioned mills but they did not follow the instructions. He said that crackdown against such elements creating pollution will continue in future as well.
